Here are the 2 Just Announced Female Actresses Just Cast in the New Star Wars Episode VII

First up is Lupita Nyong'O, Oscar Winner from last years 12 Years a Slave.  Nice work, JJ, adding some acting cred to the Star Wars Universe!  

Next, is Gwendoline Christie from Game of Thrones.  I have never seen Game of Thrones, so I have no earthly idea if she will be great, awful, nice, or mean in the role.  All we know is that JJ is casting ladies in what so far has been a very male dominated casting for episode VII.  We also know JJ is generally pretty great in making his female leads be strong characters.  Let's hope the same holds true for the new bunch!
