Wow Haba!  You have put out an instant classic in my opinion.  It is very difficult to put out a game that instantly appeals to everyone that is playing and yet still has an element of strategy and luck.  Karuba does this well!

So, at our house, one of our all-time favorite games is called Take It Easy.  This is because it is approachable by everyone.  High luck and strategy in one package.  Everyone gets to do something every turn (perfect for little kids or people that are easily bored) Well, the good news is that Karuba takes the Take It Easy formula and improves upon it in nearly every way!

In Karuba, everyone has their own game board where they are basically trying to solve a puzzle by themselves.  However, they can not get a new piece of the puzzle until everyone else does.  Once everyone gets a piece of the puzzle, everyone places it and hopes to do a better job than everyone else.  the better you place your tiles, the more points you score.

The theme ands artwork here are just so much fun.  Who doesn't love a good Indiana Jones/ Tomb Raider archeology type theme?  Plus, the theme actually fits quite well, as you are trying to get your explorer to the ancient temple so you can gather the treasure before everyone else.

I loved that this game takes about 3 minutes to explain and only takes about 30 minutes to play.  This is perfect for our hectic family that only has about 1/2 hour to squeeze in a game sometimes.
All in all, this was an outstanding game that I would recommend to anyone.  In fact, if you are like our family, you might even get two copies of the game so more players can join in the fun! What a great family game!

You can find it here on Amazon!
