Fuse is a fast paced game for 1 to 5 players. The componets are cool, and the theme of defusing bombs fits well with this stressful cooperative game! As soon as the game starts, someone starts a timer, everyone has ten minutes to defuse bombs by doing certain things with dice. Some bombs force people to roll a green 6 while others may force you to make a blue and red tower, or pyramid. Easy right? But there's a fun little catch: You don't know what dice you get each time. See, each player takes dice based on the amount of players out of the bag and rolls them. If you cannot use the dice you just drew to defuse any of the bombs, you must take the dice you drew and another one with a similar attribute that was already played and put it back in the bag. Also, if during this mad scramble you knock over a pyramid or tower you must return everything on that bomb into the bag. If you complete all the bombs by the end of the game you win! If not BOOM!
For a more relaxed game you can simply difuse less bombs, and if you want a more intense game try the insane mode where you difuse every bomb.
All in all, I thought this was a fun game. I liked that the game only takes 10min to play ... every time ... no matter what! And, I liked the game's simplicity. I also liked the high stress coopertive game play. The only thing that I think would of made this game better is if it came with a timer instead of having somone have to keep track of the time. Oh wait it does! You just download the app from Google play or ios' app store and you have the timer! So, all in all I thought the game was really frantic fun, and a great game for anyone looking for an intense coopertive game!
