At first I thought it would be a great idea for our pets to have superpowers. But then I realized, most children would be dead if that was the case. This is because animals are still animals and kids are still kids. Let's say your cat has he ability to light in fire and streak across the sky. That would be really cool to see. However, imagine what your cat would do the first time your child messed with it's whiskers while it tried to sleep. Flaming child is what would happen.
